He is the founder and managing partner of Besfin. After working in various positions at Akbank, Besli retired from his position as Deputy Director General (his responsibilities included Commercial-SME, Project Financing, Credit Committee Membership, Cash Management departments) in 2011 and founded Besfin. Having completed the “Econometric Model” study on Deposits-Loans in 1989, Besli, a graduate of Istanbul University Department of Economics, was granted the title of inspector. Besli, who did an internship at Deutsche Bank, the world’s leading financial institution during his term off office at Akbank, continues to attend numerous domestic and international trainings on sales and marketing. The last training he attended was “Customer Oriented Marketing Strategy” held at London Business School. Besli, who took part in the initiative created to solve the financing problems of SMEs operating in their countries together with CEPS (Centre for European Policy) IMED, the think-thank institution of the European Union, participated in the meetings in Barcelona and Brussels in 2010 and took an active role in this initiative. Besli, who is experienced in Corporate Finance, project finance, loan and bank relationship management, and strategic marketing issues, is a member of WFS (World Futurists Association) in the USA, Chatham House in the UK, TUSIAD in Türkiye and various social organizations.
