Mustafa Say, iLab ve AccessTurkey Capital Group’un kurucusudur. 1999 yılında bir hedge fund olan AccessTurkey Fund LLC’i kurarak yatırım aktivitelerini kurumlaştıran Say, 2000 yılında iLab’i kurmuştur. Alanında öncü internet girişimlerine yaptığı yatırımların yanı sıra yeni platformları da hayata geçiren Say, vizyoner ve girişimci ruhu ile iLab portföyünün büyümesinde çok önemli bir rol oynamıştır.

Say, 1989 ile 1999 arasında büyük çaplı uluslararası petrokimyasal ve plastik sektöründe faaliyet gösteren Vinmar International’da (Houston,ABD) bulunmuştur. Vinmar’da petrokimyasal alım satım bölümünü kuran Say aynı zamanda organizasyonel gelişim ve küresel strateji konularından da sorumlu olmuştur. Vinmar’da geçirdiği sürede 300 milyon dolarlık bir iş hacmi yakalamış ve Türkiye, Singapur, Taipei ve Çin’de ofisler kurmuştur. Say, Vinmar’dan önce, 1983 ve 1989 yılları arasında GE Trading’de (New York, ABD) çeşitli roller üstlenmiştir. Ayrıca Say, 1991 yılından beri de Türkiye ve küresel piyasalarda aktif şekilde yatırım yapmaktadır.

Columbia Üniversitesi’nde İş İdaresi master’ı yapmış ve İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi’nde Makine Mühendisliği tahsili görmüştür. Endeavor Türkiye Yönetim Kurulu, Türk Eğitim Vakfı Mütevelli Heyeti ve aynı zamanda TÜSİAD üyesidir.

Mr. Say is the founder of AccessTurkey Capital Group and iLab. He institutionalized his private investment activities in 1999 with AccessTurkey Fund LLC, a hedge fund with an outstanding track record. In early 2000 he diversified AccessTurkey Capital Group operations into venture capital by founding iLab. Under iLab, he has invested in and founded several visionary online businesses with extraordinary growth track records. His vision and entrepreneurial drive have been instrumental for the growth of iLab portfolio companies.

From 1989 to 1999, Mr. Say was at Vinmar International (Houston, USA), a large international petrochemical and plastics trading company. At Vinmar, Mr. Say established and managed the petrochemicals trading division. His responsibilities included trading as well as formation and execution of global strategy and organizational development. During his tenure, Mr. Say built a business with annual revenue more than $300 million and established offices in Turkey, Singapore, Taipei, and China. Prior to Vinmar, from 1983 to 1989, Mr. Say held a variety of positions in GE Trading (New York, USA), a subsidiary of General Electric Co (USA). Mr. Say has been an active private investor in the Turkish and global markets since 1991.

Mr. Say has an MBA from Columbia University in New York and BSME in Engineering from Technical University in Istanbul. Mr. Say is a board member of Endeavor Turkey and member of Turkish Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TUSIAD).

Altuğ İnan Access Türkiye Capital Group bünyesine 2008 yılında katılmıştır. Access Türkiye’den önce Kodak Türkiye’de Genel Müdür rolünde 3 yıl çalışmış olan İnan, burada çoklu işletme biriminin Türkiye faaliyetlerinin büyük çaplı yeniden yapılanma projelerine liderlik etmiştir; bu projeler bir işletme biriminin ayrı bir birim haline getirilmesini ve bir özel sermaye şirketine satışını da içermektedir. İnan, Kodak Türkiye’ye Mali İşler Müdürü olarak 2004 yılında katılmıştır.

Kodak’tan önce, Deloitte & Touche’un Güvence ve İş Danışmanlığı Departmanında 10 yıl boyunca İstanbul ve Southampton (İngiltere) ofislerinde çalışan İnan, son 2 senesinde İstanbul ofisinde Denetim Müdürü olarak görev yapmıştır. İnan, denetim tecrübesinin yanı sıra, Deloitte bünyesinde çalıştığı dönemde durum tespiti, şirket değerlemesi ve özelleştirme projelerinde de önemli tecrübeler kazanmıştır. Marmara Üniversitesi İşletme (ingilizce) Lisans derecesine sahip olan İnan, Serbest Muhasebeci Mali Müşavirdir.

He is the founder and managing partner of Besfin. After working in various positions at Akbank, Besli retired from his position as Deputy Director General (his responsibilities included Commercial-SME, Project Financing, Credit Committee Membership, Cash Management departments) in 2011 and founded Besfin. Having completed the “Econometric Model” study on Deposits-Loans in 1989, Besli, a graduate of Istanbul University Department of Economics, was granted the title of inspector. Besli, who did an internship at Deutsche Bank, the world’s leading financial institution during his term off office at Akbank, continues to attend numerous domestic and international trainings on sales and marketing. The last training he attended was “Customer Oriented Marketing Strategy” held at London Business School. Besli, who took part in the initiative created to solve the financing problems of SMEs operating in their countries together with CEPS (Centre for European Policy) IMED, the think-thank institution of the European Union, participated in the meetings in Barcelona and Brussels in 2010 and took an active role in this initiative. Besli, who is experienced in Corporate Finance, project finance, loan and bank relationship management, and strategic marketing issues, is a member of WFS (World Futurists Association) in the USA, Chatham House in the UK, TUSIAD in Türkiye and various social organizations.

Altuğ İnan joined within the body of AccessTurkey Capital Group in 2008. İnan, who worked at Kodak Turkey for 3 years in the role of Director prior to AccessTurkey, led major restructuring projects of the multi-business unit’s Turkey operations; these projects include conversion of a business unit to a separate unit and its sale to a private equity firm. Inan joined Kodak Turkey in 2004 as Financial Affairs Director.

İnan, who worked in Deloitte & Touche’s Assurance and Business Advisory Department for 10 years in Istanbul and Southampton (England) offices, worked as the Audit Manager in the Istanbul office took for the last 2 years prior to Kodak. In addition to his auditing experience, İnan gained significant experience in due diligence, company valuation and privatization projects while working for Deloitte. İnan has a Bachelor of Business Administration (English) degree from Marmara University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Ertekin Peker has been duty for a period of 18 years in various combat squadrons of Turkish Air Forces in his quality of Combat Pilot. After having been graduated from Air Force War Academy in1995 as a Staff Officer, he had been appointed to headquarters services where he took duties within the frame of planning studies of NATO exercises. After having been graduated NATO Defence College in Roma, Italy in 1998, he was appointed to his duty of Squadron Operation Officer and Squadron Commandership. During the continuation of his last duty, he joined Allied Force Operation (Kosovo) from Ghedi Air Base in Italy. He got retired in year 2000 from Turkish Air Forces upon his request and joined iLab Ventures, venture capital arm of Access Turkey Capital Group. Mr. Peker has taken responsibilities in business development, human resources and administrative affairs. Mr. Ertekin Peker has received education in Air Force College (Aeronautical Engineering), Air Force War Academy (Staff Officer) and Roma NATO Defence College (NATO Senior Headquarters Officer).

Besfin’in kurucusu ve yönetici ortağıdır. Besli Akbank’ta çeşitli pozisyonlarda çalıştıktan sonra Genel Müdür Yardımcılığı (Sorumluluğu, Ticari-Kobi, Proje Finansmanı, Kredi Komitesi Üyeliği, Nakit yönetim bölümlerini kapsamaktadır.) görevinden 2011 yılında emekli olmuş ve Besfin’i kurmuştur. İstanbul Üniversitesi İktisat bölümü mezunu olan Besli, 1989 yılında Mevduat-Krediler üzerine “Ekonometrik Model” çalışmasını bitirerek müfettişlik unvanı kazanmıştır. Akbank’ta görev yaptığı dönemde, dünyanın önde gelen finans kuruluşu Deutsche Bank’ta staj yapan Besli finansman satış ve pazarlama konularında çok sayıda yurtiçi ve yurtdışı eğitimlere katılmaya devam etmektedir. Son olarak katıldığı eğitim London Business School’da katılmış olduğu “Müşteri Odaklı Pazarlama Stratejisi”dir. Avrupa Birliği’nin think-thank kuruluşu olan CEPS (Centre for European Policy) IMED ile birlikte ülkelerinde faaliyet gösteren KOBİ’lerin finansman sorunlarının çözümü için oluşturulan insiyatifte görev alan Besli, 2010 yılında Barcelona ve Brüksel’deki toplantılara katılarak bu insiyatifte aktif görev almıştır. Kurumsal Finansman, proje finansmanı, kredi ve banka ilişki yönetimi, stratejik pazarlama konularında deneyimli olan Besli, Amerika’da WFS (Dünya Futuristler Derneği), İngiltere’de Chatham House, Türkiye’de TÜSİAD ve çeşitli sosyal kuruluşlara üyedir.
